Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was stabbed four times as he was leaving a party at a South Norwood scout hut.
The 18-year-old youth from New Addington had been at the party at the scout hut in Alverston Gardens on Friday October 19 and was leaving at around 11pm.
Police told how several fights broke out at the party which was overrun with gatecrashers.
The victim described how a black youth and a mixed race youth approached him before an aggressive conversation developed between them resulting in him being punched.
The two disappeared in a purple Vauxhall Tigra containing four black youths which had by then pulled up outside.
The victim ran into the hallway of the hut before realising he was bleeding from several stab wounds in his back, and was taken by ambulance to Mayday Hospital.
