Quins sign Puma prop Pablo
NEC Harlequins have signed Argentinian tight-head prop Pablo Cardinalli on a two-year contract.
Cardinalli, 25, toured New Zealand with his national squad last year and has four years' experience playing provincial rugby for Buenos Aires.
In his career he has won representative honours with Arg-entina U19, U21 and A sides.
Quins chief executive Mark Evans said: "Pablo is probably less well known than others, but no prop tours with the Argentinian squad to New Zealand without being a powerful and dominant scrummager.
"Being a tight-head prop, he is one of a rare breed along with Jason Leonard, Laurent Gomez, Bruce Starr and Jon Dawson and we now have a strong pool of props that every team needs if it is to be successful."
