Stolen Porsche crashes in Muswell Hill

A stolen luxury sports car crashed into four parked cars and a telephone pole in Muswell Hill this afternoon.

The silver Porsche Boxter, reported to Barnet Police as stolen earlier in the day, ploughed into the cars after its driver lost control in Coppetts Road, near the junction with Osier Crescent, just after 1pm.

The force of the collision almost forced one of the cars into a nearby house.

A police spokeswoman said the driver fled the scene following the crash.

The car has been removed for investigation by forensic experts.

    No arrests have been made.
