TOTTENHAM are on the brink of signing Crystal Palce teenage sensation John Bostock, according to Sky Sports.
Spurs had been heavily linked with the talented midfielder in recent weeks, and after facing late competition from Chelsea, Manchester United and even Barcelona, they finally appear to have got their man.
Bostock, just 16, became Palace's youngest ever player aged 15 years and 287 days when he came on as a substitute against Watford last October, and he is rated as one of the country's brightest prospects.
Eagles manager Neil Warnock admitted he was in the dark about the move.
He said: "I don't honestly know. I've been told he's going to sign for Tottenham but I'm not sure. I'll be speaking to his dad.
"It's disappointing really if that's the case because I've not been told myself. But these big clubs can do what they want, can't they?"
